In combat, a Chimera may strike with all three heads during any CR. The Lion and Goat heads may only strike those that they are near.
The Goat head must attack at a run to use its horrns. When not butting, the Goat can use its hooves to kick any opponent that is behind it.
The Lion may bite at will. If it doesn't bite, it may use two claws (2 attacks) on an opponent in front of it.
The Snake head may strike at anything, in any direction. If striking at something behind it, the snake tail may reach out to 7 feet from its rear.
The Chimera is a form of Ivashu that is found throughout Kethira, Yashain and Sherem. A Chimera is a large beast with the forequarters of a lion, the hindquarters of a huge goat, the heads of both a lion and goat on its shoulders and the head of a large snake mounted on the end of a snake-like tail.
The Chimera is a large omnivore that lives in lightly wooded areas or plains. They are normally encountered in groups of 1d5-1.
Some scholars have noted a strange difference between the heads in their eating habits. The Snake head will only eat meat that it has killed. The Lion head will eat any fresh meat, but is not above scavenging. The Goat head will eat just about anything organic, but is vegetarian by preference.
The Snake head of the Chimera is known to carry various types of poisons. While a Chimera may carry a poison, it is also immune to it. The table below shows the normal types of poisons carried by a Chimera.
