Harpers Ferry: East hexside to Frederick is a major river (bridge) and not a Gap. Suffolk: NW hexside is James River. 7.35 MELEE Units defending forests DO have Double Defense in a Melee (change). Within a battle turn all melees must be fully resolved before other firing (including long range) can occur. 7.43 OUTFLANKING Units that have successfully outflanked can do ANY normal fire turn, including Melee, and Counter-battery. 8.0 HEX CONTROL Control of a hex does not change until the end of a turn. 10.0 SEA MOVES Sidebar example 1 requires Harrison Landing to be under USA control as well (or else the move to City Point would be blocked). 10.5 RIVER CROSSINGS (Change) Units may Attack via River Crossings, but cannot Reinforce or Retreat using this move. Cost is two (2) strategic moves. 11.6 SUPPLY ATTRITION Sidebar example: largest units must be reduced first (as per 11.6). 11.8 SIEGE Siege of Washington VPs (1 per month) continue if the CSA occupies Washington.
